역시나 내가 가장 좋아하는 Joe McNally 작가국내에서는 감성적인 사진이라는 말로 포장하여 색감을 틀어 나만의 감성 사진이라고 하는 사진이 주류를 이루는데 이런 사진을 보다 보면 어느 순간 사진이 질리고 만다. 양념이 강한 음식을 계속 먹는 느낌(?) 그렇다고 디지털 사진도 보정을 하지 않아야 한다는 것은 아니다. 디지털 사진은 보정의 과정이 사진현상을 하는 것 과도 같은 의미를 가진다. 촬영당시 보았던 그 것을 좀 더 잘 표현하기 위해 디지털이 못 따라가는 부분을 채워 주기 위함이지 다른 사진을 만들기 위함은 아니라는 것이다. 그런 부분에 있어 Joe McNally 의 사진은 나에게 사진의 기술과 부정의 기준이 되는 경계를 잘 보여주고 있다.
